2016-2017 Season Schedule

March 21st - Linux Workshop

For thousands of years, people have been herded into using things that don't quite work, just like Windoze Users, and Linux is now a viable replacement for that horrible Operating System and Desktop that you were forced to purchase with your computer. While it's not for everyone, it's perfect for people who use their computers to:

  • Browse the Internet, receive and send eMails, manage their financial accounts online, shop or sell online, communicate with friends and family, play online games, or do their Geneology,
  • Play offline games.
  • Create and print documents like letters, faxes, spreadsheets, greeting cards, and labels.
  • Record and Play music and video files.
  • Set up and manage home automation.

Advantages include:

  • It's FREE: It doesn't cost you anything to download OR use it. EVER!
  • It's SAFE: NO Viruses are created for it, so you don't need an antivirus program.
  • It's FAST: Your slow computer will immediately run faster, guaranteed.
  • It's EASY: You can try it out on your existing computer before you install it without messing up your current system. If you decide to install it, simply click the install icon on the desktop, answer a few questions, and it does the rest.
  • It's FULLY SUPPORTED: No fake technicians either. Linux is supported by the worlds largest support group, based on the Internet, and providing all the support you need for FREE! No worrying about whether the tech support person is a scammer, because there are hundreds of thousands of people around the world that you can double-check an answer with.

March 28th - Prepping For Travel

We'll be helping you get your computers ready for travel, backing up your data, talking about WiFi Hotspots and connecting into them, links and resources for repair and upkeep of your RV and vehicles to keep them in top condition for the long drive home, or for their summer storage here in the Park.

April  4th - Taxes and Earthquakes!
